There was a 4.2 earthquake today in Managua... the latest of about four quakes centered in Managua and south. I felt Friday's, a little shudder under my feet and rumbling a city away.

Today's was small but it triggered the fault here. The same one that caused the quake in the 1970s that killed 6000. Granted many houses are cement or slabs of salvaged wood.

Yaci's family has a regular plan so we are enacting it.

Sleep with your bag packed and shoes at the ready with a flashlight and all in An open place. We are going to haul the mattresses out to the garage/ patio and all sleep here, next to the street.
