Salsa with the Sandinistas

Waiting for friends in Leon, who were inside the Sandinistan revolutionary museum, one of the volunteers gave me a quick street lesson of salsa.

I then dozed off on the steps of the revolutionary museum, riddled with bullet holes in some spots, to the sound of a talent contest across the street in the plaza and honking horns, until clowns on stilts came out and brushed past me.

(PS Mother's disclaimer: Our friend Frankling was there with me, lest anyone think I was willing to pass out on the street for a snooze solo). :-)
