Driving the Golden Pipeline heritage trail 600KM from Perth to Kalgoorlie, you go by a lot of small typically western Aussie towns.
In this one, there were two automobiles that "didn't make it," as my mom says when there's roadkill. I particularly like the billboard. Very fitting.
The other photo shows an Aussie "road train" — a tractor-trailer with AT LEAST three trailers hooked to the cab. Sometimes there's more. Crazy!
That must be a pretty grueling driving test for a license.
There's also a building shaped like a camera in Meckering. It's a museum that I can't tell if it's open or not. It's cheeesy. yes. I made Sue stop anyway. :-)
